beans ( a minor lietmotif today )

one of the bean seeds the guys from discovery charter school planted last tuesday is germinating ( first photo ) which is good news..another bean seed had floated to the top of the soil so i replanted it and we will see it again soon...hopefully as a bean seedling...the bottom photo is looking west down the row of beds...we seem to be doing just fine...more as the beans sprout and the squash is planted ( probably next weekend )
