industrial corn is spaced out
a foggy start to summer in the industrial field behind the big box stores but the corn is up and running and ad oddly spaced as i have ever encountered...even more so than i thought last time out...some is a foot apar6t...some six inches...but there are bursts of plants that aren't even that far apart...four inches tops...lacking a tape measure i stuck my hand between some plants for perspective...with my fingers closed my hand is just under three inches wide at my finger tips and just a shade over that at their base...what happens to his corn will bear watching....was there a mechanical mishap in planting or has monsanto pushed the envelope in corn spacing?
an industrial worker and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
