around the iuncg this morning

the feral cherry tomato plant that grew in the corner box by washington street from seed that hitchhiked over from the old garden in the soil when we moved it has been caged...it was spilling out of the box and beginning to trail along the ground so it was high time to support it...we placed it in a cage fashioned form stakes and jute twine that can be adjusted as the disheveled looking plant reorients itself to the sun...there are tomatoes there...still green on that plant but there are ripe ones in the back bed...speaking of rip...the beans in the bean and cucumber wall are producing and they will stop if the beans aren't picked...i took some today because there were so many but we need to get on top of this people...the community isn't paying close enough attention..the beans hide...i had to move foliage to get that photo...even from a distance the garden is looking pretty good on august second...stop by when you get a moment.
