one for fern
another of the pod corn plants grown from seed the garden's friend fern sent from out west has come into full flower and there are two plainly visible ears on the two flowering plants...will the squirrels find them as delectable as the other members of the zea family in the garden? stay tuned...i am not a bee sort of guy but i am thinking that the pollinator in the last photo isn't an apinae family member..but what do i know? fern's the pro...whatever it is it is serving a valuable purpose in the garden.
an industrial worker and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
