cover crop, green manure, and garlic I

the bed in the top photo was maize and cucumbers with a couple of tomato plants...we cleared the maize and cucumbers which were pretty much done, but left the still producing tomatoes be ( second photo )...after we double dug and hoed the bed the garlic and winter rye cover crop in the third photo were planted by parker ( bottom photo )...there were so many cloves in that bulb cynthia said she had to double up the row to fit them all...this is a story that repeated itself as you will see when you read on.

  2. our timing was impeccable Parker ( do i sense a new adjective/noun combination there? )...almost like we had a fair idea of what we were about...thanks for all the help.
