new grass growth
difficult to see in the top photo but the new leaf in the second photo is there...there is a bit of new growth going on in several of the teosinte plants down there...all of them of the northern tepehuan variety...some from seeds acquired from native seed search and some from seed grown in my back yard in 2013...either way this is by far the most successful indoor teosinte season i have had and if it continues i will be planting them in much larger containers and moving light fixture around to accommodate plants that could conceivably reach eight feet in height...not sure if that's in the cards...i certainly wouldn't turn it down either.
an industrial worker and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
