pi day in the iuncg
went to the garden after work today to open up the second garlic bed...there's always a bit of anticipation when you peel back the fabric, clear the straw , and have a look...to my relief i found the garlic parker had planted up and running...at this moment there are seventeen garlic plants in two beds which leaves six yet to appear...they should be along soon...these are the ones that came up last fall and they have a head start on their roots...the others will be along soon...the first week of the season is always an adrenaline pump...there is still clean up work to do and some early crops to plant...then on to serious seasonal planning and preparing beds for planting day...there should be some additions this year...now to find gardeners.
an industrial worker and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
