a morning trip to the community garden to do a bit more work preparing the garden for winter...the cucumber vines have failed and so i cleared them form the bed...down the row someone has been harvesting potatoes ( and left a couple behind...so the gardener took them home ) so i cleared that potion of that bed as well and then sowed both with alfalfa and fall green manures to get them established as soon as possible...the cauliflower is coming along well and the jalepenos are still producing...the bell peppers are done for the year and oddly enough...the banana pepper in the ninth photo is still flowering and producing while the one next to is shutting down...still only a couple of garlic plants up which disturbs me since i have forty nine up and running at home...hopefully there will be more next visit.
