the top six photos are the progression of an ollala spud in the basement over the last eleven days..top to bottom 11/9...11/12...11/15...11/17...while the fifth and sixth are from this evening...the last two photos are of the second potato in the container...the first taken on 11/9 and the bottom photo from this evening...so the basement season for seed potatoes is on...the garlic out back is mulched...the green manures are well established...and there's snow in the forecast for tonight...everything here is ready for winter and the growth has moved indoors...there will be surprises...such as the fact that i seem to have uploaded the same photo twice...i plead fatigue.
an industrial worker and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
