the bear paw maize is flowering out back ( first three photos ) and i thought it might be interesting to compare those emergent flowers to some that erupted from the zea diploperennis in the perennial garden project in the autumn of 2013...not carbon copies...but close enough to be related...the annual teosinte i have in the back yard is nowhere near ready to flower yet but when it does you can expect to see more comparative photos...just because it's my blog.
an industrial worker and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
