a short stroll

july was wet but august has been hot and dry...the good news us the plants are well established and watering every few days is maintaining them well and the yard is a busy place...from the second photo down...baart wheat with yacon in the background...a stand of bear paw maize...the darkening ramp seeds are a sign of approaching fall...tesointe, jerusalem artichokes, yacon...grapes in the catalpa tree...beefsteak tomatoes...tesointe, sweet potatoes. and yacon...the cucumber wall telling an even more urgent narrative about approaching autumn...and some cherry tomatoes...rain in the forecast...believe it when i see it.
