sheltered

in the season sheltered from the elements in the basement the teosinte ears are coming along well...
the mashua continues to climb the trellises...
the shriveled and almost lost bookshelf spud has nascent leaves on the tips of the sprouts...so..we were not too late...good news...i did have to provide some support for the "leggy" spud that has moved in next door to Jean's puddle wheat...it had fallen over yesterday....upright today...
speaking of puddle wheat, it is looking robust even though i can discern no signs of any ears yet...
finally, the slow-going yacon is well, and the third rhizome has put up two stems ( it was by far the larger of the three i planted ) it will doubtlessly finish it season outdoors...it is a slowpoke.
