attrition? yes. capitulation...not bloody likely

well...i've lost half of the dozen trees i potted a while back...so i quit perusing the web and went to an actual human for some advice...in response i have tweaked my watering schedule and adjusted the position of the grow light relative to the plants ( i never said i was a master gardener...only a curious one...you are at liberty to interpret that as you choose)...i put some more seeds in to germinate but, hopefully, i can pull thse six through with a little work...an elementary mistake i imagine...no harm in making errors as long as i learn something...i will be starting tomatoes this weekend so they'll be moved along by may...the end of the month will see unmulching of both the garden at home and the one on campus with the spinach and arugula going in here at home...the focus is still perennials...asparagus, jerusalem artichokes, chinese yams, potatoes...some anuual root crops on campus by way of yield comaprison to last year's tubers and anoher shot at teosinte in both gardens...we'll also see if the gamagrass takes hold in my yard...just waiting on the weather...probably another post this weekend on jerusalem artichokes too...it's thawed enough to dig and i have a multitude to use up in the next few weeks...more thoughts on an improved storage scheme as that develops as well...lots to learn and share...more later.
