germination city

the scorzonera seed ( top photo ) and the burdock seed ( second photo ) arrived here friday...i have zero experience with either of these root crops ( my friend fern tells me scorzonera was a medieval favorite...or, at least, eaten a lot ) so i decided to do a test germination to see what they look like when they emerge...i am told they look like grass...that should make them readily identified, right? the take two to three weeks to germinate so there may ( or may not ) be a few photos posted early in november...stay tuned if any of this holds your interest.
