a couple of compost hills ( first photo ) and some compost turned into the bed ( second ) have become home for a couple of cucmuber plants ( third ) and another tomato plant ( fourth )...already planted hard red spring wheat continues to have irruptions of ears ( fifth )...while the egyptian walking onions get ready to walk ( sixth )...a closer view of one of the unfurling areal bulbs ( seventh) gives a hint about how they root.
Organic rather than transgenetic. Labor instead of chemicals. Diversity in place of monoculture.
