just another bean field story

a quick trip to the supermarket led me past the bean field today so i s topped for a look...not much to tell really...autumn is creeping into the berm as leaves turn brown, seed pod pop open, and the poke weed berries ripen...there are numerous bean pods to be seen but the beans aren't even beginning to look done yet...fall is creeping in from the edges...the rows still look well defined in places..in others not at all...one presumes the farming technology has advanced to the point that "weeds" are recognized and excluded from the harvest...i cannot feature sorting the beans from biomass by hand.
