five

the weather was fairly spring-like when i got home from work so i decided to have a look out back...
the new york imports are evincing new growth...
i did a census of the ramp bed and found thirty-six plants up and an earthworm...always a happy find...
i also found hard red spring wheat...
einkorn...
emmer...
dwarf syrian...
and pacific blue stem wheat...which means all five varieties are up and running in some form or another...to say the gardener is pleased would, in all, be accurate...we may finally be getting started out there.
