ah...winter

temperatures are resonable for february...however the low ( per the national weather service ) is forecast to fall between +2 and -11 ( farhenheit ) tonight...

this month has put paid to the snow drought...

i am reasonably convinced the winter wheat and rye have enough insulation now...and one would think the spring melt will provide enough soil moisture for the season's start...

the teosinte ears i left out there have mostly shattered...we will see if they germinate in a few months...i have a multitude of seeds from this past season so there will will be zea...

downstairs we still have spuds...

and blooms...

and berries...

and stolons seeking a destination...time to find a daughter a home.
