a as in asparagus

the asparagus spear in the top photo will eventually "fern" and feed the roots...the one next door in the second photo has flowered and now is forming nascent "berries" each with three to five seeds...we will be propagating asparagus...b as in brussels sprouts on the left in the third photo and c as in cauliflower which is on the right...both cousins and highly similar in appearance...last two photos are potato fruits on thee hoof and out of alphabetical order...tricky devils those...more on that soon enough.
