so i watered...

...every bed...thoroughly...in the nineties ( faherenheit ) today and tomorrow...i may have another trip out in the morning to check...

i loitered about waiting to gauge the impact of the water so i pried into the life of the garden...i found bees in the squash flowers and on the blooming maize...

and nascent bean blossoms on the vines around the maize...

and ears on the same maize...

after around half an hour the stomata on the maize leaves had pretty much closed and the leaved flattened out again...

the cucumber leaves that looked ;like this yesterday afternoon...

were looking a bit more comfortable this morning...

and, while there was til some curl in some tomato leaves, they had begun to flatten out as well...nothing wrong with curled leaves...means the plants are doing what they need to do to survive short term...they just need some more water to keep it going.
