ramps and wheat

the ramp bed has gone untrampled for at least one night which is encouraging in ramp preservation terms...there are more up and i begin to see more leaf development...running a bit late...but running...

the only other development out back is there are two emmer wheat sprouts up...no sign of einkorn as yet...the rest of the yard ( beyond the proliferation of crocuses and daffodils ) is quiet...still waiting on asparagus to show up and there is another moth or so before the berries begin to become active bloomers...we are content to wait.
