my seed garlic from country creek arrived today...i count enough cloves for twenty-one plants if they all take...i will be planting early nxst week...a useful holiday activity...that isn't all...or even the most important seed today however...

the zea mexicana out back is coming along well...lots of ears and that plant in the center of the photo...

has a number of ears that are looking like they are just about mature...

and a few that are...

and they have the garlic beat...twenty-three seeds from two ears...we are wealthy tonight...geeked too.
