the german butterballs are coming out nicely and are ready to cut. callus, and plant ( there will be a cutting post thursday )all by friday...another piece of news...the mashua tubers i ordered arrived today...they are an andean tuber that is intercropped with potatoes in traditional agriculture and will go in among some of the potatoes in the community garden...each plant will optimally produce five pounds of tubers...i see another storage experiment in the offing.
Organic rather than transgenetic. Labor instead of chemicals. Diversity in place of monoculture.
