a vine a day?
this bed has some maize and pole beans going on but it is predominantly slicing cucumbers and they are shift into a higher gear ( to the extent that we have run out of poles for the trellis...off to the garden center )...the trio in the second photo are tossing out vines that will be needing support soon...the third photo is of a post put in yesterday morning and which the vine had found in the ensuing day and the last photo is of the first vine to emerge late last week...a little jute twine and some vine training and we will have a fairly impressive cucumber wall on display...plus produce...more as it comes up.
an industrial worker and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
