odds and ends

the edible and native lamb's quarters is up and running in a bed in close quarters with some turnips...the transplanted asparagus is rather spindly and we are not sanguine about its survival but the naturalized seed that hitched a ride over form the old garden has produced some hardy looking plants that seem to be thriving in the bed with some potatoes and garlic...up since march the garlic looks as if it is approaching the end of its season...perhaps some spuds and garlic form the garden? there should be some early potatoes done in the next few weeks...i see lunch.
