backyard garlic and teosinte
there are other things going on besides teosinte...but honestly they are not the focus at the moment...they will come to light soon enough...just like the garlic growing in one of the beds out back ( top photo )...these will be mulched as heavily as the ones in the community garden and should get on fine...the second and third photos are of tandem teosinte ears on plants out there...all the plants. big and small, are exhibiting them...the smallest of the plants has gone them one better by producing the first triple ear of the season...maximum dna replication opportunities in minimum space...the fifth photo is of a couple of plants that germinated next to one another in a row of seeds i planted last march.
an industrial worker and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
