my backyard today

i brought in the yema de huevos potatoes ( a direct ancestor of yukon golds...i believe i have mentioned this before...it was instructive to discover this after i had planted both types )..the top photo is them on the hoof and the second photo is of the take...so the second tuber for the storage experiment is in and the eucalyptus leaves and the english lavender are on the way...the third photo is of the cauliflower sprouts hardening off in a half barrel until i plant them in the community garden next week...the fourth is one of the stands of jerusalem artichokes in full flower and pushing ten feet tall...obviously the weather last season was why they were so stunted and fared so poorly...no issues n 2013...the bottom photo is of one of the scattered hopi blue maize plants intercropped around the back with teosinte. kohlrabi, basil, zucchini, cucumbers, beets, potatoes, and green manures...all doing well.
