plants and a pollinator
i found another pollinator visiting the eggplant blooms this evening...which is pretty much why there are eggplants in the garden...clearly they have been visiting the cucumber blossoms as well...that's a 2 x 12 behind that behemoth...the green manures are well up and will be running off and on until spring...i am curious oto see if the winter rye goes dormant...over the past couple of seasons the over-wintering plants like wheat grass and winter wheat have remained active all winter...climate change indicator? the larger ears of sweet corn are ready to pick...and even though the strawberry plants are beginning to show signs that the end if the season is coming closer we still have strawberries...we have shown we can grow the plants...now let's focus on growing a community...drop by when you can.
