beans and a garden

the space ready to plant at the community garden is down to four beds this morning...i planted sixteen blue lake bush beans ( provided they all take ) and some yacon ( next post )...the rest of the beds are doing well...the cucumbers are putting out more leaves and there will be trellises soon enough...the sweet potato vine and the buttercrunch lettuce are fine...the lettuce shocked a bit after i planted it but it has come back nicely despite the current heat..the tomatoes and peppers are fine and i installed tomato cages today..before the plants got too far ahead of me...more population, human and plant, are needed in the garden...it will be expanding and i have acquired seed for fall kohlrabi and brussels sprouts and i am contemplating what else would work for an autumn harvest...we ar egood...we will be better
