industrial beans/mutant corn
edgy and at loose ends with the whole of life i decided to take a look at the bean field by the supermarket ( they depend on one another after all...there is symmetry in their juxtaposition )...there are a bunch of beans out there and they are turning and nearing harvest..the mutant volunteer corn has continued to sprout and to flower...but has still failed to produce any viable ears of corn that i can locate..i will be traipsing out to bean fields as i can find them to locate all the volunteer corn i can until harvest just to test the "second generation non-viability hypothesis " in what is surely an unscientific way...and compare them with a second generation of heirloom hopi blue maize that i am drying as seed corn
