beans II

i was out at the bean field to day as well just to see what was up...the germinated bean i brought home is doing just fine in its pot even in the shorter autumn sunshine ( although a grow light may be in the offing )...and some of the beans in the field are still just fine too...at least those that are partially mulched by harvest waste and bits and pieces if wood...the exposed ones don't look nearly as well...an eventual fate for them all i think...but not all the beans have germinated so my "engineered failure" hypothesis may be just so much cheap supposition ( i am human after all...i see things i can't readily explain and look for reasons...it goes with the job ) i will tend the bean i rescued and i will still be planting the ones i picked up in the spring just to see what ( if anything ) besides a bean plant happens...it is the only way i know how to really learn anything
