the boys were buzzing the hatchery today...

and taking turns landing on the hatchery roof to catch their breath ( even these respites were unnaturally short [in human terms anyway...perhaps just long enough in leaf cutter terms]...they move fast even when resting...most of these shots are just dumb luck )...

and having what i presumed to be squabbles over territory...

until i uploaded the photos and saw this dark-eyed beauty...now i am not so cetain...happy father's day.
