there was not much work for the weeding sicle at the portage garden this morning...basically what was up were plants i wanted there...native growth has shied away...for now...
six of the eight maize seeds i planted have germinated...if there are two misfires i will replant later this week since iwill be soaking more seed to plant at home...
the balance of the green in the bed is from spuds that are leafing out...so...it's quiet...i will be checking in again later this week to look for change.
Organic rather than transgenetic. Labor instead of chemicals. Diversity in place of monoculture.
