community

my bed in the comunity garden is looking okay these days...
the maize looks healthy and it will be time to plant the beans at their bases directly...
these are all hierloom flints and a few have begunt to tiller...it will be interesting to see if the tillers produce ears this season...
robust is a good word for the spuds...
and the beans are coming along too...
i transplanted some quinoa from home that looks as though it may have shocked a bit...hopefully it will make a full recovery...
had a couple of visitors while i was there...this firefly flew in after a tough night for a little rest...
and one of my daughters turned up to harvest some pickles from her bed...always a nice surprise...
finally, in the tag as "relentless dna" category...a lamb's quarter growing in the soil in a rootball from one of last season's sunflowers
