cherries
the cherry blossoms have given way to nascent cherries in the community garden...the tree looks very well this season and i will be getting some geraniums in the ground around it to try to keep it that way...the strawberry plants look just fine as well as the turnips and fifteen of the sixteen potatoes i planted have turned up for the party...more beds have been planted and my idea is to head out there saturday and finish the corn and put in some more peppers and , perhaps, some kohlrabi...the season is off to a good start...there's a lot more to come as crops come to fruition and plantings change...stay tuned if you like.
an ex- industrial worker ( the continued automation of jobs, condensing of ownership, plant closings, trade wars, and degradation of living standards here has rendered me a former industrial worker...now just part-time lumpen proletariat) and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
