never having grown mashua i cannot say if it is thriving...but it is growing and producing more leaves so i will take that as a good sign...the jerusalem artichokes are growing just fine...we will see how fine in eight days...the bottom photo is of a brassica ( ellen and i thought it might be a kohlrabi plant on planting day ) that was transplanted out of a corner bed...the bottom leaves have died back but the top ones seem to be doing well...we will wait and see on this as well.
an industrial worker and university student (everyone needs a hobby...my hobbies have evolved and, to keep things straight, i have left my formal student career behind for reasons that are too detailed to delve into here...continuing to be a student of life however and not adverse to learning...stasis is death ) sliding down the back side of middle age...a social loner with collectivist leanings...explain that.
