desperate measures III
it seems that the sunshade i have cobbled together over the ramps will be allowing enough light in for the low level of photo synthesis the ramps seem to need..at the moment they have perked up some and that is encouraging...however...lat night it occurred to me that while i may have solved the sunshine issue i may also have created a condition that will slow roast the plants...so i stuck a thermometer in the bed to see...at e8:00 a.m. it was about 65 degrees ( fahernheit ) in there...ant 9;40 it was 68 degrees and at 10:08 it was 72...which is about six degrees warmer than the ambient air temperature...we may not be out of the woods yet...on a more positive note the grape vines, despite being severely ( although unknowingly ) cut back, are coming into leaf..there may be grapes yet...just not up in the tree.
